Can I experience cleansing symptoms?
Question: Can I experience cleansing symptoms when using the Cardisuit? Answer: Some people who use the Cardisuit CO2 bath may experience a cleansing reaction before their symptoms begin to improve. This process, which might be experienced as a temporary aggravation of symptoms, could happen immediately or after a few weeks of CO2 bathing. What happens when we get an initial aggravation is similar to what happens when a person quits smoking. The new non-smoker may not feel well at first, and it may take a while before the physical benefits are experienced.Another example would be when a person experiences a tough time when trying to wean off of antidepressant medications. In these cases, we call it withdrawal symptoms. Usually, the reaction occurs where we have had problems before.A way of looking at a cleansing reaction is therefore that our body is in fact in a healing process.Although we want to feel good immediately after a treatment, more than anything we should look for change/reaction. If we get a change/reaction, it indicates that the treatment is giving some kind of result, but if the reaction is too strong, we may want to reduce the dosage (fewer and shorter sessions).ReferenceCan Breath Training cause a “cleansing reaction”?

There are two glues used to seal the seams, 577NT and NL27A. They are polymer and silicone-based glues and have excellent chemical resistance, meaning they do not react with almost anything. The other components are the zipper, neck seal, and gloves. It completely melts at 80 degrees Celsius. After a session, especially if you are sweating, it is good practice to put the Cardisuit suit on a hanger. To help keep the Cardisuit suit cleaner you can also wear soft clothing during a session, as the CO2 will easily go through the fabric.Additionally, CO2 is antibacterial. A study showed that the growth of staphylococci was 1,000 times higher when the bacteria were exposed to normal air for 24 hours, compared with exposure to air saturated with 100 percent CO2.CO2 has been used in food packaging since the 1930s, because of its antibacterial effect, which prevents disease-causing bacteria from growing. It is called Modified atmosphere packaging (MAP). Bread, cheese, chicken, and coffee, are some of the products that have 100 percent carbon dioxide added inside the packaging.ReferencesKD Olsen et al.
