The Relaxator Sits Next to My Laptop—and Keeps Me Grounded
I use the Relaxator almost every day while working. I work remotely and spend 8 to 12 hours a day in front of a computer. The interesting thing about that is—you're constantly in a mild fight-or-flight state. Slack notifications, emails, running late for meetings... all of it puts pressure on the nervous system.
As a result, your breathing suffers. You start breathing from the chest or even holding your breath—it’s sometimes called email apnea. That poor breathing negatively impacts heart rate variability and overall wellbeing.
What I’ve found is that by keeping the Relaxator beside my computer, I’m reminded to use it daily. It guarantees—without me even thinking about it—that my breathing stays calm and steady.
That’s huge, because sure, you might meditate for 20 minutes or sleep for 8 hours, but most of us spend the majority of our day at our desks. So having something that helps me breathe properly during those hours? It’s one of the most impactful things I do for my health.
